Get ready to use English on the move. You will begin by talking about tourism and national parks, learning vocabulary for locations and free-time activities and using prepositions of place to say where people and things are. You will also strengthen your writing by practicing capitalization for important words. Next, you will step into shopping situations with vocabulary for clothes and prices, questions with how much and how many, and language for likes and dislikes. You will describe what is happening now with the present continuous and build confidence for everyday conversations in stores and online. In the final module, you will explore the movement west in U.S. history while practicing trip preparation vocabulary, sequencing actions, simple past tense verbs, and questions like How did…? and How was/were…? Throughout the course, you will complete listening and reading work, grammar practice and quizzes, and writing and speaking showcases. By the end, you will be able to describe places, ask about prices and quantities, and talk about past travel experiences.
