If you’re new to automotive software, this broken-down format is way more digestible than raw specs — especially ports, interfaces, RTE (Runtime Environment), MCAL layers, and software components.

The course covers the relevant AUTOSAR concepts and terminology, and the examples chosen are generally aligned with real automotive use cases. However, for an introductory course, the content is too descriptive and verbally heavy, which makes it difficult to follow and maintain attention. Many topics are explained at length without first establishing a clear intuition or mental model, especially for learners who are new to AUTOSAR. The structure could be improved by introducing clear motivations and practical context before diving into detailed definitions. Concepts such as ports, interfaces, connectors, and runnables are often explained in isolation, without enough visual flow or step-by-step reasoning that shows why they are needed and how they work together in a real ECU software design. Overall, the course contains valuable information, but simplifying the explanations, improving structure, and focusing more on intuition and practical examples would make it much more effective as an introduction to AUTOSAR.

The course provides a well-structured introduction to AUTOSAR, making it suitable for beginners. However, the content falls short of the professionalism expected from industry-standard training programs.

I found the explanations of Classic vs Adaptive AutoSAR fairly clear, though a few sections felt rushed and could’ve used more practical examples or visuals to make the concepts easier to remember.

The content is good but the instructor(reader) reading the content is horrible. Please try providing notes at the end of every module as it is really difficult to understand the reader. Thanks!
