You’ll work directly with servers, IoT devices, and various network types, learning how to set up Internet connections and VLANs. In this module, you’ll develop a strong foundation in computer networking, preparing you for both the exam and real-world IT environments. You’ll explore essential topics such as ports and protocols, network devices, and small office/home office (SoHo) networks. You’ll also dive into wireless networking protocols, networked hosts—including various server types—network configuration, and TCP/IP, which is fundamental knowledge for any technician. The module wraps up with an overview of network types and networking tools.
