I am a 40-year-old college educated professional game designer with over 15 years of professional experience. I wanted to ramp up on Unreal (as I was much more familiar with Unity), but in order to get Epic's unreal certification, I needed to go through this course. It is, hands down, the worst course I have ever taken in my life on any subject. It is not only badly structured and weirdly promotional, it actually straight-up wrong about some of the things it teaches, and asks beginner designers to do extremely daunting tasks (write a GDD for an introduction course? madness) and unethically requires that participants share their precious ideas with others via a communal grading system. I do think this course was well-intentioned, but no one should take it. And if you have to take it for the certificate, do not take it *seriously.*

es puro concepto en si ,no te enseñan a desarrollar un videojuego solo te califican si sabes los conceptos de juego y ellos lo revisan,califico mal por que es de paga despues de un semana,no se si la funcion sea conseguir un trabajo con ellos,pero si quiero aprender a desarrollar desde 0 al menos deberian cambiar el nombre del curso

Quizzes are upsetting and frustrating. Videos are good and provide valuable information. But what gets me off this specialization is quizzes. It's not okay to have some simple information in videos and then drop 5-10 completely uncovered abbreviations in the quiz, it provides some "go guess" style.

While the content was alright, the prepared questionairs and hand in forms are incorrect or uncomplete. some missing upload fields, sometimes answers simply being wrong, making an achieval of 100% without actually answering with an incorrect answer impossible.

Course video concepts are good. However all the work material is AI written, does not encourage thinkin, pulls from outside sources that wasnt in the material provided.
