This Specialization takes you from React basics to full-stack applications built with AI support. You learn the frontend foundations first, then add the AI tools and APIs that speed up everyday development work.
You begin with React — components, state, styling, forms, and API calls — and move on to Next.js, where you work with the App Router, layouts, dynamic routes, and data fetching in server components. From there you connect real generative AI APIs and build a chatbot with streaming responses and multiple chat histories.
The rest of the Specialization focuses on AI coding assistants. You set up and use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, and Google Antigravity, and learn the parts that matter in daily work: chat modes, project context, custom rules, memories, commands, and agent skills. You also practise prompt engineering so the results you get are clearer and more accurate.
By the end, you can build React and Next.js applications, connect them to AI APIs, and use AI coding tools as a normal part of your workflow.
Applied Learning Project
You build a To-Do List app in React with CRUD operations, filtering, React Hook Form and Yup validation, and MockAPI integration, then move to Next.js with dynamic route segments and data fetching in server components. You build an AI chatbot that connects to Google AI (Gemini), OpenAI (ChatGPT), DeepSeek, Anthropic (Claude), and xAI (Grok), with real-time streaming and a multi-chat sidebar. With the AI tools you build a Calculator App using GitHub Copilot, a Currency Converter App using Cursor, and a Calendar App with Vitest unit tests using Google Antigravity. Across Windsurf and Claude Code you set up rules, memories, commands, and agent skills, and apply them to adding features, fixing bugs, refactoring, and generating documentation.
